Grand Slang for the identity of Cleaver, Serene Industries’ Hall effect mechanical keyboard machined from a single block of aluminum. Against the object’s brutal, monolithic form, the typeface introduces an unexpected sense of warmth, elegance and emotion. That tension between industrial severity and expressive letterform is what gives the project its distinct character, helping propel the release beyond product design circles and into wider online attention.
