How do I choose the right license?
Choose the license tier that matches your organization's size and intended usage. License tiers are based on the size of the organization using the fonts, rather than the number of individual designers involved in a project. If you're purchasing a license on behalf of a client, simply select the tier that matches the client's organization size.
What if I'm unsure which tier I need?
If you're unsure which employee tier is right for your organization, just send us a message. We'll happily help you find the right license. We'd much rather answer a quick question than have you guess.
Can I use the fonts for client work?
Yes. You may create work for clients of any size. If the fonts are used directly by the client organization, the license tier must match the size of that organization.
Do nonprofits, museums and educational institutions qualify?
Yes. Our licenses are available to nonprofits, museums, educational institutions, cultural organizations, agencies and commercial businesses alike. Simply choose the license tier that best matches your organization's size and intended usage.
Who becomes the license owner?
The license always belongs to the organization that will use the fonts. Whether you're purchasing for yourself or on behalf of a client, simply choose the employee tier that matches the final license owner.
If you're ever unsure, don't hesitate to reach out. We'd be delighted to help.
Can freelancers or external collaborators access the font files?
Yes. All Company and Enterprise licenses automatically include Third Party Rights, allowing you to share the font files with freelancers, contractors, agencies and other external collaborators working on your behalf.
Our goal is to make collaboration as simple and frictionless as possible, without unnecessary licensing complexity.
If you're using an Independent or Studio license and require Third Party Rights, we'd be happy to help you upgrade your license. Simply get in touch—we'd love to hear about your project.
What if my company grows or I need to upgrade my license?
No problem.
Every situation is different. If your organization grows, simply get in touch. We'll look at your specific circumstances together and recommend the most appropriate solution.
In many cases, upgrading simply means paying the difference to the next employee tier. In others, an upgrade may not be necessary at all.
We'd much rather find a fair and straightforward solution than create unnecessary licensing complexity.
